Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County

Pictures of my recent visit to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County edible garden. The museum employs
stormwater infiltration system.

Throughout the garden one will find different  ground elevations that help direct the rainwater.

Collects rainwater into ground water infiltration pits.
Swales that direct water to drains that connect to  and the grates that cover the 5’ wide by 40’ deep perforated infiltration pits

Drip irrigation.

Cherry Blossom.

Museum's greywater system.  The black pole has a lever to switch from greywater system or sewer system
